What is it? It is an Index for England and Wales that lists the names of individuals who have died Intestate - that is those that have assets including money and property, but left no Will or blood relatives.
Who is entitled to share in the intestate's estate? The deceased's spouse, civil partner, children of the deceased or blood relatives who descended from a grandparent of the deceased. You are not entitled if you are related through marriage.
